Setup
Sit on the floor with legs straight. Put the middle of a band around your feet. Hold an end in each hand. Sit tall.
Steps
- Pull your hands to your stomach.
- Squeeze your shoulder blades together.
- Let your arms straighten slowly.
Breathing
Breathe in as you lower. Breathe out as you pull.
Where you feel it
In the middle of your back.
Common mistakes
- Leaning back to pull.
- Rounding the back.
When to stop
Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.
Check the band for cracks before you start.
