Needs
Dumbbells

Setup

Stand with feet hip-width apart. Hold a light dumbbell in each hand in front of your thighs.

Steps

  1. Lift the dumbbells forward with nearly straight arms.
  2. Stop at shoulder height.
  3. Lower them slowly.

Breathing

Breathe in as you lower. Breathe out as you lift.

Where you feel it

In the front of your shoulders.

Common mistakes

  • Leaning back to swing the weight.
  • Lifting above shoulder height.

When to stop

Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.
