Setup
Stand or kneel tall. Hold a light kettlebell upside down by the horns at chest height, or a dumbbell by its ends.
Steps
- Circle the weight around your head, close to it.
- Keep your stomach tight so your body stays still.
- Do the chosen number one way, then the other way.
Breathing
Breathe in a steady rhythm. At an easy pace you can still say a short sentence.
Where you feel it
Around your shoulders and upper back.
Common mistakes
- Letting the weight swing wide.
- Arching the lower back as it goes behind.
When to stop
Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.
