Setup
Put one end of a barbell in a landmine holder or firmly in a corner. Load the other end. Stand facing it and hold the loaded end at your shoulder with one hand.
Steps
- Stand with one foot in front of the other.
- Push the bar up and forward until your arm is straight.
- Lower it slowly back to your shoulder.
- Do the same number on the other side.
Breathing
Breathe in as you lower. Breathe out as you push.
Where you feel it
In your shoulder, upper chest and the back of your upper arm.
Common mistakes
- Twisting the body to push.
- Letting the corner end slip.
When to stop
Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.
