Setup

Sit tall with your chin level. Put the palm of one hand on your forehead.

Steps

  1. Press your head gently into your hand. Your hand stops any movement.
  2. Use about a third of your strength.
  3. Hold for the time you chose, then relax.
  4. Do the same with the hand on the back of your head, then on each side.

Breathing

Breathe slowly and evenly. Do not hold your breath.

Where you feel it

In the muscles around your neck, without any movement.

Common mistakes

  • Pressing hard.
  • Letting the head tip or turn.

When to stop

Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.

Stop if you feel pain spreading into an arm.
