Setup

Sit tall with your shoulders relaxed and your chin level.

Steps

  1. Turn your head slowly to look over one shoulder.
  2. Go as far as is comfortable and pause.
  3. Turn slowly to the other side. Each side counts as one rep.

Breathing

Breathe out as you move. Breathe in as you come back.

Where you feel it

A gentle stretch in the side of your neck.

Common mistakes

  • Turning the shoulders with the head.
  • Moving fast or bouncing at the end.

When to stop

Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.

Stop if you feel dizzy.
