Setup
Stand with your back against a wall. Walk your feet out about two feet in front of you, hip-width apart.
Steps
- Slide down the wall until your knees are bent at about 90 degrees.
- Keep your knees above your ankles.
- Hold for the time you chose.
- Slide back up to finish.
Breathing
Breathe slowly and evenly. Do not hold your breath.
Where you feel it
In the front of your thighs.
Common mistakes
- Letting the knees go past the toes.
- Pushing on the thighs with the hands.
When to stop
Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.
Stop if your knees ache; slide up to a higher position.
