Setup

Stand tall beside a wall and touch it lightly for balance.

Steps

  1. Lift one knee to hip height.
  2. Hold for two seconds.
  3. Lower it slowly and change legs. Each lift counts as one rep.

Breathing

Breathe out as you move. Breathe in as you come back.

Where you feel it

In the front of the lifted hip and the side of the standing hip.

Common mistakes

  • Leaning back.
  • Leaning on the wall.

When to stop

Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.
