Incline dumbbell curl

Setup
Set a bench to about 45 degrees and sit back on it. Let your arms hang straight down with a light dumbbell in each hand.
Steps
- Keep your upper arms still.
- Curl the dumbbells up toward your shoulders.
- Lower them slowly until your arms are straight.
Breathing
Breathe in as you lower. Breathe out as you lift.
Where you feel it
In the front of your upper arms, with a stretch at the bottom.
Common mistakes
- Lifting the shoulders off the bench.
- Using weights too heavy to lower slowly.
When to stop
Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.
