Setup
Stand beside a wall or along a kitchen counter you can touch.
Steps
- Put one foot directly in front of the other, heel touching toes.
- Take the next step the same way.
- Look ahead, not at your feet.
- Count each step as one rep.
Breathing
Breathe in a steady rhythm. At an easy pace you can still say a short sentence.
Where you feel it
In your ankles, feet and the sides of your hips.
Common mistakes
- Looking down.
- Rushing the steps.
When to stop
Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.
