Setup
Clip the safety key to your clothes. Stand on the side rails and start the belt slowly.
Steps
- Step onto the moving belt.
- Walk in the middle of the belt, near the front.
- Raise the speed or the slope a little at a time.
- Slow down for the last few minutes before stopping.
Breathing
Breathe in a steady rhythm. At an easy pace you can still say a short sentence.
Where you feel it
In your legs and breathing. A slope works the buttocks and calves more.
Common mistakes
- Holding the rails while walking up a steep slope, which takes away the work.
- Stepping off a moving belt.
When to stop
Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.
