Needs
Pull-up bar

Setup

Hang from a pull-up bar with straight arms.

Steps

  1. Pull your shoulder blades down.
  2. Lift your knees toward your chest.
  3. Curl your hips up a little at the top.
  4. Lower slowly without swinging.

Breathing

Breathe out as you curl up. Breathe in as you lower.

Where you feel it

In your stomach and the front of your hips.

Common mistakes

  • Swinging the whole body.
  • Dropping the legs fast.

When to stop

Stop if you feel sharp pain, pain in a joint, dizziness or numbness.
